Step 1 Hip Rotation for Slow Pitch Softball

HOME RUN POWER STARTS WITH HIP ROTATION

It may sound complicated, but this slow pitch softball bat swing technique is quite easy when you put it all together.

To explain my swing, I am right-handed batter.

Step 1 - I stand deep in the box (near the catcher) and as far back (away from the plate) as I can. In softball, if your toes are touching the lines of the batter’s box, you are considered in the box.

It is critical that I start my motion to swing AT THE PITCHER’S RELEASE OF THE BALL since this works to time my actual softball bat swing with the ball crossing the plate.
